carlawithflowerI can’t really explain why I got so excited about designing our first official band t-shirt. My excitement is really all out of proportion to the actual reality. I mean, it’s just a t-shirt. But I am happy about how it turned out. Carla did a really cool design. I love our “Wolf character.” He’s a cross-dresser. He holds a bouquet of flowers. He’s a lover of Peace. A sensitive Wolf. I guess I love the contradictory nature of the image. If you want a t-shirt you can order it from our Merch page on Bandcamp, or track one of us down!

And maybe it’s the reality of creating a tangible, real thing that’s the kick. We write songs, we do shows, we rehearse with our band, we create sound waves and good vibes, but they kind of disappear into the ether when we are done. But this r&r shirt? It lives! I imagine all the cool people who might wear our shirt. And I imagine all those other people, who have no clue who we are, thinking, “Wow, that’s pretty cool, I wonder where I can get a shirt just like that!” And who knows, maybe they’ll even seek us out and take a listen to our music! – Jammer

10+1 on iTunes NowYes, we have finally, and fully, launched our album 10+1 into the digital universe.  This is not a stealth campaign, just a slow roll-out. It’s the “long tail” approach. So yes, now you can find us on iTunes, Spotify and a long list of other digital outlets. And of course the album is available on bandcamp. And if you are still into “old world technology,” don’t forget to check out the first-run, limited-edition CD, it comes with a cool booklet of lyrics and photos.  – Jammer

wwsp @ the denToday we are releasing “Inner Light” as the first official single from our record 10+1. The single is being launched out into the international radio universe by Danie Cortese Entertainment. The full album is available as a limited-edition CD, or high-quality digital download, on bandcamp! We are so excited to be working with Danie and DCE. “Inner Light,” features just the four of us: Carla, Tim, Rich and I. The song is near and dear to our hearts. It’s a little message in a bottle. Wonder where it lands? What’s the sound of “one hand waving free?” – Jammer

“A voice said to me, ‘I am the one,’ was it a holy one, was it a demon… I follow an inner light…”

Yes, this week we jumped into bandcamp with both feet! It’s like a little ecosystem for bands, an underground, under the radar scene. Music of every conceivable genre is just waiting to be discovered there. We released two albums as digital downloads, our debut CD 10+1, and a 5 song EP “Live at St. Luke’s.” The EP was recorded & mixed on-site by Bill Stribling, the resident “phantom” of St. Luke’s, an extraordinary old Episcopalian church with amazing acoustics. It was a great show, the band was in fine form, and being in that intimidating, awe-inspiring, chamber seemed to bring out our best.

We are donating 50% of all proceeds from digital downloads to the The Earth Day Network’s Canopy Project. Their goal is to plant 10 million trees in 5 years in impoverished communities around the globe. We are honored to give back, and we hope people will buy our music and at the same time help us contribute to a noble and worthy cause. It’s a way of putting some of our own idealism into action!

Here’s to a greener future for all of us! “Enjoy the Music, Change the World!” – Jammer

I have a little side project I’m calling Broken TV. It’s a channel for songs that have no home. Hopeless cases and lost causes.  The new song “Beehive Hairdo,” was inspired by the untimely demise of Amy Winehouse. Broken TV. Don’t worry it’s always on!  The three-song EP “Don’t Worry it’s Always On,” is now available on Bandcamp. You can stream it, or download it for free or “pay what you want.” It’s the Radiohead model! – Jammer
