All apologies. We want to thank all the folks who came out to see us this Saturday, and apologize for the nagging sound issues that plagued our set. Why the apology? What should have been a sweet transcendence was a bumpy, sonic road. We played a r&r show last night and it was often feedback and bad mix for us. The sound gremlins were out in full-force. The room was totally packed with fans of our band. A truly impressive turnout of humanity on a beautiful summer night. We did our best, but we wrestled with bad sound pretty much the whole set. You know, it does happen, occasionally even to the biggest performers in the world. We aren’t that, just a little, struggling band, fighting to find our voice and audience. Happy to say, there was a soulful, enthusiastic crowd, there was lots of dancing to the grooves, but the vibe was under assault pretty much the whole night; a dollop of chaos & noise. A bit of a vibe-killer. No doubt. Who or what to blame? Let’s just chalk it up to bad luck, chaos & entropy. Anyway, onward, upward, and looking forward to a better day, and a better soundscape. Seeking transcendence one r&r show at time. – Jammer
